The 5th International Disaster and Risk Conference IDRC Davos 2014 will be held at the international conference centre in Davos from 24 - 28 August 2014.

IDRC Davos 2014 will gather again over 1000 participants including risk management experts, practitioners, scientists, key players from civil society, Non-Governmental Organisations and the private sector. The diversity of participants enables both a strategic and operational level of discussion to ensure “the last mile” will be considered with key players from line ministries and disaster and risk management authorities.

4th IDRC Davos 2012 - A look back

"Integrative Risk Management in a Changing World - Pathways to a Resilient Society"

With a series of 11 plenary sessions, 2 key note lectures, an open forum, over 50 parallel sessions and workshops, 4 open stage interventions, and 4 pre- and post-conferences, the 4th International Disaster and Risk Conference IDRC Davos 2012 has closed last Thursday evening. 956 registered participants from more than 100 countries met from 26 August to 30 August 2012 at the Davos Congress Centre to jointly discuss, assess and disseminate new approaches and solutions for integrative risk management.

The conference outcomes including the videos of all plenary sessions, the presentations as well as the short and extended abstracts of the parallel sessions, all videos of the red chair statements, the winners of the risk award, the winners of the poster award, and the conference photo gallery, can be accessed on the conference website.

Our thanks go to all our participants, the keynote and plenary speakers, the oral and poster presenters, the exhibitors, the patronage organisations, the co-hosting and collaborating institutions, and of course to our sponsors.
