Presenter Guidelines
Oral Presentations
Oral presentations are organised in parallel sessions within time slots of 90 minutes. Parallel sessions are scheduled according to the searchable 
IDRC Davos 2016 programme.

Power Point Presentation upload
Power point presentations can either be uploaded within the conference management system (-> edit contribution details -> 2nd file) or directly at the registration desk upon your arrival at the Davos Congress Centre.
Duration of the presentation
The length of each presentation within a session depends on the duration of the time slot of your session, and the amount of presentations within this time slot. The general session details are as follows, yet please also consult the conference programme for details about your session in particular:
Session duration: 90 min
Presentation time: 12 -15 min incl. Q&A
Session Chair
Each session is chaired by the session chair(s) who guides through the session, ensures time keeping and moderates the discussion.
Session room equipment
Each room is equipped with a projector, a laptop (Windows Operating System) and a power socket (Type J – SEV 1011 (Swiss 10A/250V)). Larger Session rooms are further equipped with discussion microphones.
Poster Presentations
Poster presentations are organised thematically clustered in poster sessions within time slots of 60 minutes. Poster sessions are scheduled according to the IDRC Davos 2016 programme.
Poster format
We kindly ask authors to print their poster in portrait shape and A0 format (841mm x 1189mm).
Display space & poster setup
Each poster will be assigned a prominent display space at the IDRC Davos 2016 conference venue. We kindly ask you to bring your printed poster to the conference and set up your poster on Sunday, 28 August 2016. For details about the space allocation please refer to the IDRC Davos 2016 programme. Your posters will be displayed during the whole conference in the exhibition and coffee break area of the conference venue. We would like to ask you to be close to your poster during your poster session as indicated in the conference programme so that interested participants can ask you questions about your work.
Poster Award
IDRC Davos 2016 participants will be asked to vote for the best posters on display. The poster with the most votes for best poster will be awarded with the IDRC Davos 2016 Best Poster Award, in the Closing Ceremony of the IDRC Davos 2016 on Wednesday, 31 August 2016.
