Martin Willhaus was born in 1953 and made his degree in Business Administration studies at the DAV, Bremen German Foreign Trade and Transport Academy in 1979.
He's a committe member of the Forum SCM at ETH Zurich, member of the advisory board GS1(formerly Swiss Society of Logistics) and also member of the board of trustees of Pro Monastery Einsiedeln. From 1979 - 1982 he was Assistant to the Executive Board at the Andreas Christ Int. Forwarding, Heilbronn. In 1983 he started his position at Panalpina, Stuttgart as Authorized Officer / Marketing & Sales, where he became the Regional Director Southern Africa in 1989. He is Managing Director of the Kuehne Foundation since 2000.
